Welcome to Hill College, where students from all over the world come to get a quality education with the wide variety of courses and programs offered at our campuses. In addition to the numerous online courses offered, Hill College has four physical locations -- the Hill County Campus in Hillsboro; the Burleson Higher Education Center in Burleson; and the Johnson County Campus and Cleburne Technical Center, both located in Cleburne. In addition to our academic pathways that allow students to transfer to four-year institutions, Hill College also offers a variety of technical programs allowing graduates to enter the workforce after completion. Whatever your goals, we have the resources and tools to guide you in your educational and professional pursuits. Student Life

Each of our campuses features a commons area where students can gather, study, and socialize. Libraries are also available on each campus, allowing students resources for research and study space. As part of the college's effort to provide a welcoming community and a sense of belonging for our students, a variety of organizations are also offered allowing students to connect with others over similar interests, such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Student Government Association, and the college's Phi Theta Kappa chapter.

Student Wellness is an important part of campus life at Hill College. Both the Hill and Johnson County campuses feature state-of-the-art gyms and a range of intramural sports, providing students the facilities, activities, and resources to stay healthy and active. You will also find a variety of health and wellness services that support your physical, mental, and emotional needs. One of the unique programs we offer is the financial fitness center, where you have access to counseling and other resources to learn how to navigate your finances as you enter your professional lives.

Athletics

The Hill County Campus is the home to the college's baseball, basketball, cross country, rodeo, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball teams. Student athletes are a core part of the Hill College spirit and student culture. Across the board, our athletes consistently compete at both the regional and national levels. Each year, our student athletes are named to the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, a recognition honoring excellence in both academics and sports. The Arts & Humanities Pathway offers students degree plans for those interested in the arts, behavioral sciences, drama, education, English, languages, liberal arts, music, social sciences, and speech and communication. The arts and humanities are also a great way for students in other pathways to add diversity in their educational pursuits and better understand the world around them. Each year, the Phillip H. Lowe Performing Arts Series, the band and choir, and the theater department put on a variety of performances for students and the community in the newly renovated Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center.

The Arts & Humanities Pathway is the gateway to Hill College's performing arts programs including band, choir, and theater, providing professional training across various disciplines, including instrumentalists, vocalists, actors, directors, theater designers, teachers and other artists. With a dynamic faculty comprised of practicing professionals, our students benefit from mentorship both inside and outside the classroom. The Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center boasts a well-equipped, modified proscenium stage, accompanied by an auditorium accommodating approximately 400 spectators. Ample opportunities for exploration in theatrical design and production are available both within the center and across campus. The center is a vital part of campus life, allowing students and members of the community access to a variety of artistic disciplines.

Texas Heritage Museum

The Texas Heritage Museum plays a vital role in furthering Hill College's educational service missions, earning both national and international acclaim. Comprising three divisions -- the Galleries & Collection, the Historical Research Center, and the Hill College Press -- the museum stands as a cornerstone of cultural and historical preservation and provides students of al ages educational programs and classes that further their education of Texas and Texans during wartime. Adjacent to the museum stands the Official Texas State Medal of Honor Memorial to Native-Born Texans, serving as a poignant tribute to Audie Murphy, the most decorated soldier of World War II, and Samuel Dealey, the most decorated sailor of World War II, and the many others that have served our country. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the highest national recognition afforded the nation's museums.

Explore your future career opportunities with our industrial, agricultural, and business programs, which are held in state-of-the-art facilities and led by experienced, certified instructors. Students gain invaluable hands-on experience and learn the skills essential for entry in professions such as automotive technology, business administration, HVAC, industrial maintenance, office administration, and welding. By partnering with Lincoln Electric and the National Coalition of Certification Centers, our Welding Program provides students with a network of education providers and corporations that support, advance, and teach new and emerging technology skills. This pathway provides career-ready individuals with the necessary certifications to enter the workforce, from those graduating from high school to those looking to start new careers.

Cleburne Technical Center (CTC)

Offering immersive hands-on experiences by certified technicians and cutting-edge simulation tools, the facility is tailored to support job training and workforce partnerships. Through strategic business collaborations with Snap-On, Audi, Mopar, and TRANE, our students gain access to contemporary, state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring they are well-prepared for the demands of their respective industries.

Health and Public Service (Health Professions)

The Health & Public Service Pathway at Hill College offers students the opportunity to embark on a journey to meaningful careers in public service and healthcare, where accredited programs lay the groundwork for aspiring medical professionals. Collaborating with industry experts, you'll develop the expertise and practical experience needed to positively impact the lives of others. Programs include echocardiography and vascular technology, EMS, and nursing. The vascular program was recently accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. While echocardiography and vascular technology are situated at our Johnson County Campus, the nursing and EMS programs are offered at both the Hill and Johnson County campuses, varying by semester.

Start your journey in a career in science and technology. The STEM Pathway allows our students to begin careers as scientists, medical professionals, IT specialists, and engineers. Our courses are led by instructors with the knowledge and expertise to assist you on your road to your desired profession in the science and technology fields with state-of-the-art science and computer labs. Our cyber security program is designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education. By providing on-campus housing, including single dorms, suite-style rooms, and full suite-style arrangements offering space for two roommates per room, and a cafeteria that offers a variety of food and beverages, the campus environment brings a family-like experience for our students.
