Welcome to Perimeter College's Dunwoody Campus! We're ranked among the top 20 two-year colleges in the U.S. Here, students can choose from more than 30 academic pathways to an associate degree. We're located on 100 acres in north DeKalb County, where students engage in a range of clubs and activities, including an annual international festival and the Writers' Circle. In the Student Center, you'll find offices for admissions, enrollment services and financial aid. The Dunwoody Campus Observatory is another unique draw for budding astronomers and local residents. Dunwoody's dental hygiene career program offers patient services for the community through a campus clinic and prepares students for jobs immediately upon graduation.

The Dunwoody Campus Student Center is a lively hangout for students looking to grab a quick bite between classes, get in a quick study session or take a break with friends. The center of activity is in the nearby Student Life offices, which connect students to a full spectrum of campus activities surrounding the student government association and leadership and skill-building workshops. Each semester, the center hosts a number of student events, like an international festival and career expos. Popular clubs and organizations at Dunwoody include the Alpha Beta Gamma International Business Honor Society, the outdoor adventure club and the engineering club.

This is an inviting greenspace for students to relax at tables, recharge their phones and laptops at outdoor Wi-Fi stations, showcase their talents or express their views about various topics, political or otherwise, in a zone designated for free speech. Walking by, you'll find students playing guitar, studying and enjoying the sunny outdoor space.

Sciences - NC

The Dunwoody Sciences in Building NC is home to Perimeter's premier and top-tier dental hygiene program. Students consistently score at or near a 100-percent pass rate on the national clinical licensure exam. Accredited by the American Dental Association, Perimeter's dental hygiene guided pathway is a two-year, five-semester course of study beginning each fall. Graduates are eligible to join a preventive oral health profession that promotes quality health and education in a variety of practice settings. The program's dental hygiene clinic has a longstanding reputation for success, giving faculty, staff, students and the larger community the opportunity to receive low-cost dental care, including cleanings and oral exams.

A number of classes, from humanities and fine arts to business and STEM, are held here. The building is also home to a variety of student resources, including the Honors College, which promotes the academic and personal growth of talented, highly motivated students by engaging them in a stimulating curriculum. Honors students receive personalized attention in small classes taught by dedicated faculty. Another student resource is the Creation & Technology Lab (CATLAB), a facility offering state-of-the-art equipment to create, edit and share media projects. Students can access Windows and Mac computers, check out cameras and multimedia equipment, use production and media software, and work together in collaborative spaces. Near the Academic Departments space is the NT Building which houses a number of student services including the Student Health Center, Counseling Services and TRIO. TRIO Student Support Services at Dunwoody is a special academic program designed to support students who are first-generation, financially-eligible or registered with disability services. Also, near this area is the Library's Learning Resource Center where students have access to books, research tools and more.

The Dunwoody Campus library is cozy and inviting, offering more than just books. Throughout the year, the library delivers online workshops on research skills, time management, technology, citations and professionalism. Students can check out technology that includes Chromebooks, graphic calculators and more. The library also hosts fun engagements and wellness activities, like arts and crafts events and de-stress workshops. The library often hosts special displays and giveaways during campus-wide celebrations, like Homecoming Week.The Dunwoody library is home to an EXLAB makerspace, a collaborative environment centered around experiential learning, creativity and innovation. Here students can soundboard ideas, create a robot, 3D-print custom jewelry and more.

Observatory

The Dunwoody Campus Observatory is a popular attraction for amateur astronomers and astronomy enthusiasts, including students and Atlanta-area residents. The observatory features a spinning dome with a retractable shutter. Over the years, the observatory has served as a draw for spectators hoping to view planets, stars, giant molecular clouds and meteor showers. Dunwoody hosts regular stargazing events, which are also woven into the the curriculum for astronomy and other courses. A recent stargazing event at the observatory attracted dozens of students and community participants.

The Dunwoody Campus Student Recreational Services provides loads of opportunities for students to get fit and stay healthy. It's home to cardio equipment, a gym, a fitness studio and a weight room. Students can enjoy regularly scheduled exercise classes, intramurals and special recreation events, like the Pop-A-Shot Basketball Challenge, which is a fun and unique 30-day fitness program. Group fitness activities and intramurals are also offered.

The Dunwoody Campus gazebo is a reflective spot where students can study and meet with peers. The gazebo is central to other signficant campus posts, including the offices for Access & Accommodations, LASSO (Latinx Student Services & Outreach) and the Dean of Students. LASSO provides a welcoming space for students from all backgrounds to connect throughout the day, immersing themselves in Latinx culture and becoming part of a "familia" that support one another through their academic journeys and beyond. In addition to its headquartered space on the Dunwoody Campus, LASSO creates year-long social, cultural, academic and professional programming on all campuses to enrich student development.
