Welcome to UCI, one of the top 10 research universities in the world, right here in beautiful Southern California. Right now we're in Aldrich Park, the centerpiece of our campus. It's the perfect place to study, hang out with friends, or take a break and relax. Nearly all of our undergraduate academic schools are located along Ring Road, just outside of the park, making it easy to get around campus and catch up with friends from any major. It's also where many of our campus events like involvement fairs, concerts and more take place throughout the year.

The Student Center is the hub of campus activity. Here you'll find a food court, Starbucks, the Anthill Pub & Grille, important student support services and community spaces, and our bookstore. Students also hang out in our Esports Arena, the first of its kind on a college campus.

Walk through Anteater Plaza on Ring Road on any given day and you'll find student clubs and organizations boothing, seasonal involvement fairs and events, graduate school fairs, and more. From the plaza, you can also access our main library, Langson Library, and the Gateway Study Center, which has computers and private study rooms available to students.

Students can easily walk across the street to the University Center, which features a movie theater, Target, grocery store, and some of the most popular options for food, coffee, and shopping in Orange County.

The Anteater Learning Pavilion is a state-of-the-art learning facility, providing high-tech, collaborative spaces that foster excellence by encouraging students to learn actively.

The Social Science Tower is one of many futuristic looking buildings on campus, and has been featured in several movies. With majors like Social Policy & Public Service, Sociology, and Cognitive Sciences, the School of Social Sciences and its students and faculty are on a mission to create positive change in society, economies, and human wellbeing.

The Henry Samueli School of Engineering offers more than 10 undergraduate degree majors and has more than two dozen research centers and state of the art experimental facilities. In addition, the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences is the only independent computing-focused school in the UC system.

The School of Humanities offers the only Literary Journalism major in the nation. Their faculty include Pulitzer Prize winners and National Book Critics Circle award recipients.

The Claire Trevor School of the Arts is one of the nation's most acclaimed creative centers for the performance and study of the arts. The school takes a conservatory approach; students get to practice what they are learning, with many opportunities to perform. Majors include Art, Dance, Drama, and Music.

The Paul Merage School of Business is ranked among the top business schools in the U.S. But programs like the Beall Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship can help entrepreneurs from any major launch their own business before graduation. Behind the business school are our top-ranked School of Education, which allows students to earn their teaching credential while completing their degree, and School of Law.

Our famous Infinity Fountain, popular for graduation photos and a relaxing break between classes, is located in the Physical Sciences Plaza. This plaza is home to the School of Physical Sciences, which boasts five Nobel Laureates; four in chemistry and one in physics.

Our healthcare majors are some of the most popular on campus. From Public Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences to Biology and Nursing, students can take advantage of being part of the only academic research hospital in the area. Our Science Library is one of the largest consolidated science, technology, and medical libraries in the country, but it's also one of our students' favorite study spots featuring collaborative, flexible, and comfortable study spaces for students of any major.

More than 14,000 students choose to live on campus each year to take advantage of award-winning facilities and form new friendships. Housing options include high-rise towers, classic residence halls, off-campus apartments, themed houses, and fraternity and sorority chapter houses. Family housing is also available.

The Anteater Recreation Center offers multiple basketball and volleyball courts, weight rooms, and group fitness classes, as well as an outdoor pool, indoor running track, rock-climbing wall and ropes course. There's even a demo kitchen that offers various cooking classes.

UCI competes in the NCAA Division 1 Big West Conference with nine men's and nine women's teams. Facilities include Crawford Field, Anteater Ballpark, and the Bren Events Center.

UCI is just five miles from the beach, and it's a popular place for students to visit off-campus. From beach volleyball to surfing and sailing, students can enjoy plenty of outdoor activities year-round. Plus, we're close to Disneyland, Los Angeles, and tons of hiking and biking trails. There's no better place to live, study, and have fun, than UCI.
