The Hubert Campus Center is the Campus Living Room -- complete with fireplace! This recently renovated facility is the heart of campus, where students meet and socialize. Need a break from studying? You can work out, practice yoga, compete in the Esports suite, or play foosball and pool with friends. Hungry? Check out the DeDominicis Dining Hall or Tab's Pub. You'll also find Student Affairs, Counseling Services, Health & Wellness, and the Falcon Store, so you can stock up on Albertus swag. Live performances and presentations are often held in the Behan Community Room or outside at Tab's on Deck.

Academics Overview(Academic Building - Aquinas Hall)

Aquinas Hall is the main academic building at Albertus. Many of your classrooms, seminar rooms, computer facilities, lounges, computer labs, and faculty offices are located here. We call ourselves the Falcon Family for a reason: personalized attention is guaranteed with our 14:1 student-faculty ratio, and your professors know you by name and foster close and positive interaction that goes beyond the classroom. You can also conduct business in Aquinas Hall: On the second floor, you'll find the Offices of Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, the Registrar, and the Bursar's Office. In between classes, grab a cup of coffee and snack at Starbucks and rest in an adirondack chair in Bree Common.

Business, Nursing, and Sciences - Tagliatela Academic Center

The Tagliatela Academic Center accommodates various academic concentrations and is home to the Tagliatela School of Business and Leadership. In front, is a statue of St. Albert the Great -- a philosopher, scientist, and theologian, as well as the Patron of our College -- in the relentless search for truth. The building features science classrooms and labs, production, editing, and post-production studio space for communication majors, and the Kops Forum Teaching amphitheater. Accompanying all this knowledge is beauty: a water wall that reflects the tides in the New Haven Harbor. This building is named after Mary and Louis Tagliatela, Sr., longtime Board of Trustees members.

The First-Year Experience - Dominican Residence Hall

Dominican Hall is our traditional, high rise, residence hall -- home to all first-year students living on campus. This way, new students can feel welcome and adjust to life at Albertus alongside their peers. There are four floors with one Resident Assistant per floor. Each double, triple, and quad room contains a bed, desk, closet and high-speed wireless internet connections. Dominican features common areas with televisions, on-site free laundry, and its own outdoor basketball court. Parking for Dominican Hall residents is free and available behind the building. Campus security is located on the bottom floor of this building.

Upperclass Student Resident Life in Mansions

Upperclassmen live in one of our four historic mansions. Each features spacious rooms with unique architecture, common living areas, full kitchens, separate bathrooms, free laundry and ample parking. McAuliffe Hall is located near the Celentano Fields so you can catch Falcon athletic action right outside your window; Nilan Hall has access to a spacious backyard; Sansbury Hall is single-gender where women can enjoy backyard picnic tables and outdoor games; and *Siena* Hall contains ample common space -- including two social lounges, a 24-hour quiet study lounge, and an outdoor patio. When you're ready for more independence, you can move into the apartments at 490 Prospect Street, just down the road.

Rosary Hall - Library & Germain Center for Academic Success

Rosary Hall is where Albertus Magnus College began in 1925 and is the most recognized building on campus. Today, it has transformed into the College's library and state of the art learning center. This is home to all your research needs -- traditional print and digital. Also located in this historic building are The Germain Center for Academic Success; the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence, Office of Career and Professional Development, tutoring services, and IT services. And when you need to take a break from all that learning, you can enjoy the sunroom or the Italian Garden overlooking the West Rock sunsets.

Athletics - Celentano Athletic Facilities

The Cosgrove, Marcus, Messer Athletic Center is your homebase for sports at Albertus. The Fearless Falcons compete in 17 NCAA Division 3 sports in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. One of the largest facilities on campus, you don't have to be an athlete to enjoy the basketball and volleyball courts, fitness and weight rooms, and the Olympic-sized pool. Nearly half of our students play at least one sport, and our Athletic Director and coaches are committed to nurturing the student-athletes to success.

Picture this: the sun is going down and you're sitting enjoying the weather, some good food, and a softball game -- perched on a adirondack chair at Tab's on Deck. Located right off of the dining hall, this is a great outdoor room with a view. And the weather doesn't even have to be warm to enjoy this spot! There's a firepit, plenty of live musical events, and who can resist s'mores. Tab's on Deck is the result of a generous leadership gift from Alumni Trustee Tabitha Manafort Class of 94.

Professional & Graduate Studies - Bree Common

Adjacent to Aquinas Hall, Bree Common is a mini-hub to get work done, relax between classes, or catch up with your professor. At Starbucks, there's ample space to study, meet-up with friends, or enjoy a snack or sandwich or beverage -- either inside the atrium or on the outdoor patio. Also located here are the Professional and Graduate Studies Program (PGS) and several conference rooms. One of the biggest annual gatherings takes place outside Bree Common: the Christmas Tree lighting!

Faith Life - St. Catherine of Siena Chapel/Dominican Ministries

St. Catherine of Siena Chapel is located in Walsh Hall and connected to the Tagliatela Academic Center via a courtyard. It is the spiritual center of Albertus Magnus College, a Catholic College in the Dominican Tradition. Deeply committed to integrating the Dominican Pillars of study, prayer, community, and service, Albertus prepares students to become responsible, productive citizens and lifelong learners attempting to seek VERITAS, or truth, through study and contemplation. Students carry out that mission by engaging in life-long learning, serving their communities, and promoting faith and justice in action. You do not need to be Catholic to attend Albertus, as everyone is always welcome.

Albertus Magnus College graduates are workforce ready and that has a lot to do with the hands-on opportunities they get from internships. Experiential learning and critical thinking skills from a liberal arts education distinguish Albertus students. They learn from the experts -- and New Haven is a conveniently and strategically located hub for a wide variety of industries. The numbers back it up. For five consecutive years, Albertus graduates outperformed the national average when it comes to finding employment or continuing their education six-months after graduation. And the return on investment is impressive looking at salary data 30 and 40 years out. Studies rank Albertus in the top 10-percent.

Our 50 acre campus is just a stone's throw away from the vibrant downtown of historic New Haven. Students get the best of both worlds -- rolling hills which look beautiful all four seasons and the cultural diversity of a college town filled with concert venues, museums, art galleries and renowned theatres. For foodies, New Haven is known for every type of cuisine imaginable. Its restaurant scene is flavorful and so are the food trucks. If the water is your scene, Long Wharf and beaches are nearby; and if you want to getaway, New Haven is conveniently located between New York and Boston, easily accessible by trains, planes, and automobiles.

Admissions - Your Journey Starts Here (Mohun Hall)

Your Falcon Flight takes off at Mohun Hall -- another one of those "most recognizable buildings" on campus. It's home to of the Office of Traditional Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Advancement as well as our new Welcome Center. Undergraduate students begin their Albertus experience here if they would like to visit the campus for an individual tour, interview, or wish to meet their admission counselor in person. Students and their families can speak to someone in English and/or Spanish. To learn more about the process, please contact the Office of Admissions to set up a personal visit to our campus.
