As you can see, Adler University is located in a historic high-rise building in the heart of downtown Chicago's central business district. There are many restaurants, coffee shops and entertainment options nearby. There are also several public transportation options just outside our front door, providing easy access for our students who live and work throughout the city.

This is Adler University's main lobby. As you will see throughout this tour, our spacious campus offers classrooms with city views, a Wellness Center, a café, and much more. With an average class size of 11 students, our state-of-the-art campus is LEED Gold certified, which means we have received international recognition for the highest standards in green building, indoor environmental quality and resource stewardship.

Institute on Public Safety and Social Justice

Here is Adler University's Institute on Public Safety and Social Justice. The Institute helps address issues of public safety like violence and mass incarceration, and works to provide socially just solutions. Our students, faculty and staff collaborate with community groups, peer institutions, and other partners to develop these solutions, and create stronger communities and systems. Just outside of the Institute, you'll find one of our Media Scapes. A Media Scape is a laptop conference display that allows students to work together on group projects. Up to 4 laptops can be displayed on the LCD screen seen here. A dedicated Media Scape area is located on each floor of campus.

Community Hall

Our Community Hall is where the entire Adler University community comes together for special events, discussions, presentations, and more. With sweeping views of Chicago's famous State Street, it also hosts public events organized by our institutes, centers, and student organizations, as well as outside community and professional groups that work with University faculty and students.

The Harold and Birdie Mosak Library

Named after one of Adler University's founders, The Harold and Birdie Mosak Library is home to over 10,000 print books and has access to thousands of electronic books, electronic journals, full text dissertations, video databases, and much more. The library is a member of the state's i-share consortium, which gives students access to over 9 million books. Many of our library resources are available from both on and off-campus. In addition to offering plenty of quiet study space, our library provides services from a dedicated staff of professional librarians, who can assist with all aspects of research. Student Services Hub

We're now standing in the heart of our Student Services hub. Here you will find all the departments you need in one place. The Admissions office is here to guide you through the application process. The Registrar's office helps with student records, transcript requests, and scheduling questions. Our Student Accounts and Financial Aid departments assist you with all aspects of financing your education, including federal student aid, scholarships, debt management seminars, and financial aid workshops both in person and online.

Center for Learning and Teaching

This is our Center for Learning and Teaching, often referred to as the CLT. The CLT is a dedicated center providing workshops, coaching, and a wide range of support for all our students and faculty. This includes one-on-one help with writing, research, dissertations, and statistical analysis.

Training and Community Engagement

The Division of Community Engagement and Training connects students with hundreds of community partners offering a variety of practical training opportunities. Starting with the Social Justice Practicum during their first year and continuing throughout their education, practicum and internships ensure students gain practical application of the knowledge and skills they learn in the classroom. The University is also home to Adler Community Health Services or ACHS, in which students provide community-based psychological services to underserved populations under the supervision of licensed staff. ACHS training programs include diagnostic assessment and psychotherapy externships, as well as Adler University exclusive, American Psychological Association accredited, clinical psychology internship positions.

Institute on Social Exclusion

Adler University's Institute on Social Exclusion works to build strategic alliances to ensure that all members of society have safe housing, quality education and healthcare, fair terms of employment, nutritious food, personal safety, and judicial equity. Our students, faculty, and staff work on projects to dismantle the barriers to essential rights, opportunities, and resources in our society, and advocate for structural change. The University is also home to the LGBTQ Mental Health and Inclusion Center. Aimed at advancing the wellness and quality of life for gender and sexual minorities, the Center is a leader in the education and training of socially-responsible practitioners for this underserved population. Through education, community engagement and advocacy, the Center strives to improve understanding, inclusion, and service-delivery to the LGBTQ community.

Art Therapy Classrooms

Our nationally recognized Art Therapy program enjoys a unique dedicated space on campus. This includes studio classrooms equipped with art supplies and sinks for clean-up. Our campus also features a gallery wall and space that displays our students' artwork, as well as artwork by local artists and community outreach programs that align with our mission. Just outside this area, students take advantage of another one of our many quiet study spaces on campus.

Wellness Studio

The Adler University community strongly supports healthy living, and every individual's physical and mental well-being. Our Wellness Studio offers regularly scheduled classes in yoga, Zumba, meditation and more. After you work out, you have access to showers, located in the locker rooms just down the hall.

Alfred's Café is a relaxing space to take a break and socialize. Here you'll find a vending and dining area, along with a refrigerator and microwave. The café is a popular spot for Adler University student organizations holding fundraisers and awareness events.
