SAIS Europe
Tour stop audio transcript
Bologna, Italy is home to the European campus of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, SAIS Europe, which for 67 years has used its strategic position in the heart of Europe to train leaders in international affairs. Each fall, as some 200 students from around the world arrive on campus, a unique, intellectual community is created and lifelong friendships and networks are formed. The original mission was to stimulate American and European students to study and live together. Today, students come from as many as 50 different countries, including Africa, Asia, and the Middle East and the small-scale and collegial atmosphere at SAIS Europe produces a close community of students, faculty, and staff. The campus is located in the historic center of Bologna, in the heart of the University neighborhood.
