Welcome to the University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus in Hong Kong. Perched on historic Mount Davis, The Yuen Campus is the University of Chicago’s premier location in Asia. With alumni support led by trustee Francis Yuen and his wife, Rose Yuen, the Yuen Campus builds upon the University of Chicago’s rich tradition of ambitious research, world-class education, and deep institutional collaboration throughout Asia. This campus has become home to hundreds of faculty, graduate and undergraduate students across the entirety of all University of Chicago; and hosts dozens of academic workshops, conferences, and public lectures each year. Since its inception in 2018, the Yuen Campus has also been a destination for faculty and students of the top-ranked Executive MBA offered by Chicago Booth, as well as to professionals pursing non-degree Executive Education courses and University of Chicago undergraduate Study Abroad students.

Occupying around 70,000 sq ft over 4 different buildings, the Yuen campus has two auditoriums, a flat classroom, flexible event spaces and study rooms as well as open areas for alumni, students, and staff. As you look around, you’ll see our Nobel laureates honored on the walls: the University of Chicago boasts more than 100 Nobel winners since it was established in 1890.

The Yuen Campus is equipped with a function hall to host events and conferences. In addition, students can access locker rooms, computer stations, and catering options. Student lounges host gorgeous views of the surrounding area. Students also have access to study rooms.

Our classrooms have comfortable, tiered seating that allows for unobstructed views of large screens, to promote interactivity, and make it easy to engage no matter where in the classroom you’re sitting. Cutting-edge technology, including dual modality, is integrated into all our classrooms, and all of Booth’s global locations are intentionally designed to include common features, so that student experience is uniform no matter where you are in the world.
