One of the most beautiful buildings on campus inside and out, Shryock Auditorium is one of the finest performance venues in the area. The pipe organ in the balcony stage left weighs two tons and includes more than 3,000 pipes. Notice the Neoclassic scroll detail on the walls near the stage – those were individually hand-cast during construction in 1917. That’s just one more reminder that at SIU, you are part of something big. But the focus is on you.
